In December I sucumbed to a regular advert appearing on Facebook featuring a woman who had combined two different beauty products and got amazing anti-aging effects at no cost by using free of charge samples available over the internet. I ordered two products, which I paid for (£2.97 each) and which I received. Today I noticed two further payments had been taken out of my bank account during January, one for UK £74.95 and one for UK £79.99. Details against both payments listed Cyprus as the country of origin which is why I queried them with my bank and they notified me that this company is known about for doing this. It apparantly does state in the Revitalize etc terms and conditions that by applying for the free samples you automatically sign up for a monthly subscription for each product. My bank has written to them to cancel this subscription (which I am sure I would not have agreed to in the first place). I now also have to re-find their details and write to them making a claim for false advertising.
