Ripoff Fake Advertising, Waste of Money, Misleading Interviews, Horrible Pay

I saw this great ad in the newspaper that said they were looking for College Kids looking to make $500 a week for the summer. My cousin and I called - had immediate interviews, Everything seemed great; we were psyched to come back.

The second Interview was a different story.

We arrived dressed very professionally (i.E. Skirts and heels) and weren't even able to speak with the manager, Alan Locke. We were asked to fill out some simple paper work (saying that we wavied our right to be paid for the day) and we headed out into the "field."

We were under the impression that we would be meeting with clients and such. Two nice young men took us out, Christian, an assistant manager (who has now since moved to an Ohio branch) and someone else who I wish not to give their name. I knew we had to drive wherever we went, but I didn't expect to be driving my own car. Neither of them even owned one.

We sat in the car for about a half hour and they told us some simple information about the company. We were impressed and hungry, so they suggested we go out to eat, again paying our own way. Thank God I had enough money to cover the gas I didn't expect to be using and the food I didn't expect to be buying.

We then went into the "field" which was selling coupon cards door to door, in heels mind you. After what seemed like forever and selling nothing, we returned to the office to have our "final interview." We both were offered jobs and we accepted.

We were to come in a couple days later to fill out paperwork. When I showed up for my appointment - the office was locked, the lights were off and no one was there.

They were very unprofessional and I feel bad for the people that work there. If you read the contract closely you'll notice that each individual who works for Infinite is considered an "Independent Contractor" and is responsible for filing they're own taxes, which when you work it out ends up to around up in the 40% range of your income because single business owners must pay more.

And there were also other people arrested for going door-to-door without permits. Alan will say he has permits, when he really doesn't.

This is a scam of a "business" and nothing would give me more pleasure than to see the "business" owners going down.
