Ripoff False Advertising of Company Positions

In March I interviewed with Infinite Advertising. At the first interview I was told they were an Advertising and Promotions company and do things such as grand openings and remodeling events for companys in sports and entertainment. Wow the perfect job, just the area in marketing I was looking for. WRONG!

I knew they were a new company so I figured the 2 room office was just temporary until they found more space then everyone there would get their own office and what not. I couldn't have been more wrong and I found this out on the second interview I was called back for. A week prior to the interview I went to their website and it was up and being worked on which was fine, then a week later (the day before my 2nd interview) I went to the website again and it was no longer a domain name and it was up for sale. This was my very first sign of suspicion. Upon arriving we were given forms explaining that we would be out in the field all day and at the end of the day we would be given the option to accept the job if they felt we were qualified enough.

Well we leave the office and stand the parking lot being drilled on marketing techniques for about a half an hour before entering a strangers car to drive to our "clients" locations.

We drove for about 45 mins before stopping in some small town and exiting the car. I was very skeptical at this point since it did not appear to be a very populated area with large businesses. We then proceeded into little locally owned stores to sell COUPON cards door to door. Needless to say not what I was expecting from such a supposed highly regarded advertising and promotions company.

Needless to say after going to 2 shops the manager told me he could tell something was wrong with me and at that point I told him that I did not go to college to sell coupons door to door and I did not appreciate being decieved into thinking this was a true advertising and promotion company. He then said he would take me back to the office to my car which I was quite pleased with.

On the way back to my car I asked him what the salary was. He commented that the cards cost around 25 dollars and I get 10 from every card sold! Ridiculous!!! And then to top it off I was told in the first week I'd be lucky to sell 2-3 cards a day. That is only 20-30 dollars a day! How do you live off of that!

This why I feel that Infinite Advertising in Parma Ohio. Also located in PA and NY, is a total scam!!!
