Stayed at the Days Inn Wildwood NJ in September; when we checked out on 9/11 we reserved the same room for next year and they charged us 1 night's stay which was $189.78. We learned on 11/1 that we couldn't travel next year that date so we called to cancel. They only refunded us $142.34. They kept $47.44 (25%) for nothing. They hide behind the fact that it's "their policy" to keep 25% but this isn't right. They had an ENTIRE YEAR'S notice and have PLENTY of time to book the room. Keeping this much money with that much advance cancellation is a SCAM!!! We talked to Days Inn Corporate and they hid behind "the policy" fraud as well.
