McDowell Label printed some labels for one of my clients and the labels started flaking off the silver coating which was a potential hazard for the consumer. Fortunately quality control caught the problem before it left the manufacturing facility. However, when McDowell Label was asked to make good on the labels and pay for the damages cost incurred by my client, John McDowell refused to deal with it and told my client to go elsewhere for his labels in the future. My client has since found another label company and they have been very pleased. I understand that even the owner, David McDowell did not step in a right this situation. I am very disappointed that McDowell Label would treat their customers in such an unprofessional manner.
