We were swindled out of $1000. The money was paid to “Signature Event Ventures” to provide a video of our daughters wedding which took place on 12-18. Throughout the wedding a videographer was observed recording the wedding activities. However, three weeks after the wedding we tried on numerous occations to make contact by phone with the company to ask about the schedule for delivery of the video’s to us. When we telephone, the recorded voice of Dean Abramowitz, our contact throughout the arrangement, answers with instructions to leave a message. Then another voice follows telling us we can’t leave a message because the mail box is full. Our suspicions had been aroused earlier when only one (1) videographer arrived to perform the service; the contract specified two (2) videographers would be furnished
Our initial contact with the company was conducted over the Internet where we submitted an application. All subsequent contacts were conducted solely with Dean Abramowitz by telephone or email. The contract was emailed to us for our signature. We never met Dean face to face.
We paid the full amount for the service in two payments of $500 each in accordance with the terms of the contract. The first payment check was made out to “Signature Event Ventures” and mailed together with the signed contract to an address provided by Dean Abramowitz.; the second payment check was made out to Ryan Nwankwo at the wedding site on the day of the wedding.
