Purchased a LUV200R LG vacuum on 9/24. The vacuum had amazing suction and cleaning power for the first 30-45 days. After that we noticed that it started making odd sounds from a port on the back of the unit which seemed to suck air constantly instead of sucking air through the vacuum area. I spoke with customer service at LG they said that nothing could be done without the original sales receipt (not cancelled check, serial number, bank statement or anything else). I went to HHGregg and talked to them about it and they said that when that happens they just give you a new one and send the defective one back to LG but only within 30 days. I have called LG several more times since but they can't do anything about it because they don't have any boxes to send that I can package the vacuum in and send back to them.
