My mother ordered a free trial off the internet, only to have a phone call from the company asking for her card details to take £2.95 for the price of shipping and handling. The trusting person my mom is she gave it to them! Luckily I saw the same thing on Rip off Britain and straight away started to look in to it, quickly realising it was a scam after phoning the company and emailing with no luck. I tried phoning the bank they were no help we decided to cancel the card so the details could no longer be used. So far no further transations have been made and we have made frequent calls to the company at an un known cost. Although we have had no further charges we are aware that other people have incurred this charge plus another two charges of £74.95 an amount hidden in the small print which is charged monthly if no contact is made with the company within 12 days. (Which is impossible as they cannot be contacted).
