Home Depot's flooring installers, from a company named Over the Edge, came to my home and installed flooring. They sent both my husband and me to return the excess molding. When we returned home, they were finished working, and we signed off that the work was done, and they left. We started to clean and noticed that the orange bag that had been in the closet earlier, with my son's earphones (Dr. Dre Beats), was now on my bed and the earphones were not in the bag.
I called Home Depot immediately and asked them to please go out and check. Instead, the manager, named Debbie, called the installers and told them that the customers were making accusations that they stole from my home. (I could have done that also, but I was calling to ask them to go out and check so that they could get the earphones back. I did not want them to know and hide them.) Since then I have been treated horribly and have yet to get any help at all. This was in October, and everyone with the exception of one of the managers, named Brian, has been so rude.
These are not allegations, these are facts. The earphones were there and then gone when they left. I have been handed from person to person and still have not received any help. At this point it is the principle of the matter, and I will not give up. I have contacted our local state police office in hope that they can figure this out. Over the Edge also lied to Home Depot management and said that my husband stayed home with them. I asked Home Depot to look at their tapes and see both my husband and me returning the molding they sent us back with.
Beware, homeowners. There are thieves at this Home Depot, and no one will help you or acknowledge that anything is even wrong. It is horrible.
