Recd email stating that I was a candidate for a position at their company, needed to fill out a list of questions, then told that I needed to go to creditreport.com and fill it out and keep the number that I was assigned because someone from HR would be contacting me in a couple of days and I would need it for that. I was suspicious about it, but applying for jobs these days is strange to say the least. I thought it was odd to fill out a credit report request, because I now need to call them and cancel the stupid thing because it was a ridiculous scam. I should have known better. I just don't know what was in it for them. Are they really doing this for the credit reporting company???
