I applied for a position and I was sent an e-mail stating that I needed to answer some questions and then complete a credit report check and I would be given an identity number that I would give to the HR personnel to establish my identity. I thought it very strange, but the position was one I was very interested in and I thought, ok, maybe this is a new security process. I knew better.
