Great Expectations, Inc. Ripoff, Scam, Deception, Prey on disadvantaged, False Advertising, Rude, Hard Sell, Finger Pointing (It is always my fault)

Services sold by G.E. Al, Inc fall far short of advertised services both written and verbal. G.E. Al, Inc misrepresented the services and I have been completely unable to resolve any issues. E.G. The service included professional Photography/Video and the photographer was not a professional also the equipment was so bad I had to help fix the equipment. I was told there were hundreds of members in my target category (Females ages 35 to 55) and there are to date only 95.

I am continually told I have not given enough time (2 Months) and the membership is growing. There are, to date, only 28 members with less than 6 months of membership (This is new members at a rate of ~4 per month). I do not know how many have been lost (I do know there at least 12 less than I could view a short time ago).

I have identified many inaccuracies in their resources including serious omissions on my personal profile. Rather than extensive profiles, they are only three brief paragraphs. I have contacted G.E. Al, Inc. Much more frequently that I have been contacted by them. Most contacts have been adversarial. I began complaints with less than two weeks of membership and nothing has improved.

My opinion is this is a scam taking advantage of people already in emotional duress due to deaths, divorces, or perhaps other reasons. I know I was not thinking clearly to do something this unwise. I also wonder if there is a class action proceeding appropriate because of all the members I have had contact with, be they few, have the same complaints. One that does not want (probably due to very bad experiences) to be involved in any way, took their complaints to arbitration. I surmise this is not an unusual circumstance. There are many other dating services I have found to be superior and cost much less or are free. Two that I have been pleased with are Match dot Com and Yahoo Personals.

I have had much better success with very qualified and interesting members using these services.in summary, I believe I was ripped off with unfilled commitments, false advertising and misrepresentation by the agents of G.E. Al, Inc..
