Complaint / Review
Judge Larry Jones
Ripoff Fresno County Superior Court betrayed by the judicial system

Due to this judge's zest to get a conviction in his court, I was found guilty of a felony I DID NOT COMMIT.

My attorney had verifiable, pertinent information about an ex-con whom I KNOW stole the money in question. This man had been in prison for stealing (embezzling) $325,000.00; he had been fired from a job for stealing; he had stolen from me over $4,000.00 due to his severe gambling addiction, and he had forged a check from my checking account.

I had spend numerous hours collecting this information that my attorney wanted to present to the jury, but THE JUDGE DISALLOWED THEM HEARING IT. He said it wasn't important in my case???!!! The idea that his history of past thefts WAS NOT IMPORTANT for them to hear is ludicris. The police found no money on me or my home; they found none of my fingerprints and this man lied on the stand.

I was advised NOT to take the stand in my own defense, even though I wanted to to tell the jurors about the three years of dealing with this man's gambling addiction, his drinking, his having nothing to loose and everything to gain by stealing $11,000.00.

I was made out to be a lowly, poor telemarketer which was FAR from the truth. I made some months $3-4,000.00 with my full-time job (my OWN BUSINESS). Telemarketing was only a part-time thing I did to help a friend. So why would I steal $11,000.00?

The judge would not allow all my personal character references to be heard. The DA painted a COMPLETELY false picture of me. I "DIED" that day and that ex-con is still free and I am suffering more than anyone will ever know.

Being betrayed by him and then the judicial system is almost more than one can bear. The judicial system SUCKS.
