I was online looking for a loan and I was contacted by a Mr. Willaim Thompson, from South Atlantic Commerce, located at 75 14 Street, Atlanta Ga. Mr. Thompson, told me that I was approved for a $10,000.00 loan and he sent me a contract to my email address. Mr. Thompson, than advised me to look through the contract, and if I was in agreement with it and if everything look good to fax it back to him, with my picture ID, a copy of my pay stub. Mr. Thompson, also informed me that they had several different lenders. If one of there lenders could not grant me the loan. That their company also have International Lenders that would. He than advised me to send a Western Union to Morocco to a person name in the amount of $811.00, plus the fee for sending the western Union. This was supposed to pay for the first 6 months of payment of the loan. He than advised me once. I had sent the western Union to call him back and to give him the MICN #. Once I did that, that within 24 hours, the money would be depoisted into my account. On, Monday, November 7th. I received a call from a Mr. Vincent Davis, who idenified himself as a Senior Credit Specialist from South Atlantic Commerce. He than told me that in order for me to get the loan, the lender needed another $811.00 to secure another 6 months of payment for the loan amount. He told me once I sent another Western Union, than the 10,000.00 would be depoisted into my bank account. I told Mr. Davis that is not what was told to me from Mr. Thompson and than I said to Mr. Davis, I would not send any more money and demanding my money back. I than said to Mr. Davis, this is a scam. He was quiet for aminuteand than told me to hold on the line. He took to long to come back on the phone, so I called him back and told him. I want my money back andnow. I knew I was scammed for sure. Mr. Davis told me that my money would be depoisted into my bank account by December 5th. I told him that I wanted his company to send me my money back by western union, as I sent it.in good faith. I called back and talk with Mr. Thompson again and told him that his company was a fraud andthey are scamming me and probably other people who's credit was not that good. I also told Mr. Thompson, that this is a scam. He told me if this was a scammed, why would he picked up the phone. I than told Mr. Thompson that I reported them to BBB and to the FTC. I also told him, that the BBB had email me and said that they had sent them a letter regarding my complaint and that the letter came back to the BBB marked "Undeliverable" First he try to tell me that they must of sent it to the wrong address. I repeated the addressof 75 14 Street, Atlanta, Ga. He try to tell me that he was in the building now. I also told himthat there is no such address and no phone number listed through 411 or through the Superpages.com or yellow or white pages. I became very skeptical of there scam before I sent the western union. But, Mr. Thompson seem to reinsure me how legit there business is. Now, I really wish that I had listen to my conscious and I would not be writing this statement right now. Now, when you call there fake me out phone number, you just get this funny ring or a phone number that is no longer in service. I believe these people have got out of Dodge, sorta speaking. They are probably, in another state or country setting up another master plan to scam other people. I highly believe that any of the names that they used, is really their names. Now, I'm set back and in deep financial trouble. I have so much to lose and no way of seeing my way through this mess. I'm hoping that I do get my money back by December 5th. But, I know that this is never going to happen. If you type there business name into goggle search, there are 9 other reviews from several people who have also been scammed out of much more money than I have been. What can be done. Any help, suggested is very helpful.
