I was approved for a 6000.00 loan terms were 36 months at 8% interest and payments of 184.00/mo. I was asked to pay the first 6 mo. Payments through Greendot using a moneypak from Walmart. William said he would not remove the money from the card i purchased until i had my funds deposited in my acct. 24 hrs later. I was advised until i scratched the covering of the pin number from the back it was untouchable. I then was called back and advised that the lender required me to purchase insurance on my loan for 1000.00 more dollars and i then knew i had been a victim of a scam. I called Greendot and they said the number on the receipt is the same as the scratch off on the back of the card. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and am filing a police report.
