MY electric meter was MISREAD, on the 10th of NOV (26308)
When I checked it Nov 24 it had not yet reached that number, it was in fact (25845); we are due for the next reading Dec 13. I feel that notifying the company will prompt them to do whatever it takes to correct this discrepancy in their favor. Multiple unresolved complaints on the Internet lead me to distrust.
If we pay, it will be stated that we agree with the charges, not pay and we'll be shut down. We need an official witness to read the meter to later testify if so needed or provide a note attesting to the facts.
A family friends of ours was up against NV Energy with a similar
issue and ended up having to pay a bill 5 times higher than usual because their meter was replaced before it was read by a third party.
