As many other people were duped by the offers made by this company we fell into the trap. Our main concern with this offer is the deceptive nature of how it is presented. The "bold" offer of £4.95p for a skin care product is what we signed up for. The fine print, terms and conditions associated with this product and company are deceptive in nature. The misleading selling techniques of this company and the product should be made "bold".
The difficulties we have found with cancelling this product especially associated with the cancellation on our debit card are not straight forward.
We could not simply telephone the credit card from which the monies (£250.00) had been taken. We were instructed that we should write to the credit card company informing them of our desire to stop any other payments. This as you might imagine this leaves a window of opportunity for the unscrupulous company to take even more money for a product we did not want to subscribe to.
In our contact with the credit card company we have outlined the need for them to be more active in making their customers aware of this scam.
