I was in need of a short term loan and went online to find the best deal, looked at several offers and I finally decided against it.
When I looked at my bank activity I noticed several small charges and then a $30.00 charge. I called the number listed on the transaction and was told it was for prequalifying me for a loan.
I would never agree to pay such a charge for a $300.00 loan.
They told me I had agreed to their terms and they would not take the charge off. This cost me another $34.00 in overdraft charge from my bank. This $30.00 charge should be prominently displayed on their terms, I'm sure they have profited many times this amount from the people that can least afford it.
