Consumer Report

SaveBig.com advertises that certain bidders on their website "auctions" have won valuable computers, iPads, etc. For certain dollar figures that make it look like a good deal. But the examples they give are based on pure deceit. If, for example, they claim that a certain item worth, say, $500 was "won" for $45, what they don't tell you is that the $500 item (which probably isn't actually worth $500) is denominated on U.S. Currency, but the $45 is really their own fake currency. The "exchange rate" between the real U.S. Dollars paid by the victim of their scam and the "penny bid" fake currency in their auctions is as much as 60 to 1.in other words, you pay 60 cents in real money for each "bid" worth 1 cent (in their fake currency). (The least each 1 cent bid can cost you in real U.S. Money is 10 cents, provided you play their game of getting unknowingly ripped off in auctions for more "bids".) So the $45 they advertise to the public, in this example, will really cost the "winner" ten to sixty times that much in genuine money. Their advertising is a fraudulent inducement to get caught in their spider web (site), where more fraud awaits you.
