I will give credit where credit is due. First off I can say that PODS delivered my container in a timely fashion, and everytime I called them, their customer service was up to par and friendly. So I received my POD on December 30 and it was re-dilivered to their warehouse for storage until February 4th, then it would be picked up February 7th for the FINAL pick up and that would be the end of the contract, so I payed the monthly rental for Dec 30 to January 31 of 106.95, then my bank account was charged another full 106.95 for Feb. 1st to Feb. 7th. I don't understand how I'm paying for a full month of storage that I only kept for 7 days out of the month when my original contract end date was Feb. 7th, so it's not like I was leaving my obligation early, you all knew the POD was no longer needed after the 7th. So I called customer service and after 15 minutes of trying to get a legit answer of why this was never explained to me, I was told to read the rental agreement and I was also told that PODS "DOES NOT" pro-rate their monthly rate. I have no idea how PODS stays in business, how do people keep coming back when you treat a paying customer like that, how do you expect to have return customers? One day you are going to run out of "NEW CUSTOMERS" and you will be sorry that you have dooped people out of their money like this. So the morale of this story is "DON'T KEEP YOUR RENTAL ONE DAY INTO THE NEXT MONTH OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FULL MONTHS RATE, " or you can just not use PODS, or check out "UNITS", they do the same service just less expensive. I've never used them, but I know I will research them next time I am moving. I will probably NEVER use PODS again though.
