An advert popped up on my internet screen, advertising a free trial with both of these products. When I followed the instructions it took too much money out of my bank account for the p&p, and then when I tried the e-mail address and the phone number to cancel my order and complain about the false advertising, neither were real contact details.
It is preying on those who are uncomfortable and unconfident with their weight, and scamming those who have the most to lose. I have now not only lost a lot of money I didn't have, and don't have the option of preventing the loss of even more, but I also have lost confidence in internet shopping, as well as losing even more confidence in myself.
