My husband worked for Clear Connection in Stockton (they are a sub contractor for Comcast) Clear Connection lost there contract and shut there doors. (laid everyone off) They set up a paid meeting w another company OCC for the laid off employees. To see if anyone is interested in working for them. My husband went to the meeting. He filled out a application, then came home and we talked about the Pros and Cons of working for them. There was way more Cons AND the location of the company was further. So w that said and all the wear and tear from using his own vehichle it was not worth it so he went back to OCC and said it was to far and he would most likely go back to school. (We had to reinvent ourselves due to the economy) So recently he applied for Unemployment, at first he was accepted. Now all of a sudden he was denied. They say he was offered a job. And their records indicate that he denied it to go back to school. "Well isnt that convenient that they only documented in his records half the story" Im mad as H*#@^!!! We need the money. How are people suppose to make better lives for themselves if their own state wont help. Im not asking for anyone to lie. Just tell all the truth. Please help me...
