Mrwarmhearted was is handle and shortly after chatting with me he deleted his okcupid profile as we were chatting on yahoo ID: stonepeter95. I asked why he deleted his profile he responded he found what he was looking for and did not need anyone else. Little creepy... Turns out he had been widowed 5 yrs earlier, working on oil rig off of Scotland; home base Boston. After a few weeks he asked me if I had a home equity account. Apparently, he needed to deposit a contract payoff, and to avoid scrutiny had been advised to pay it through this type of account. Made no sense to me whatsoever. I told him I did not have account, and he asked me to open one as he would not have time to get back to the states to take care of this. He said that he trusted me with his money. I'm like what? Are you insane, we never even met! When I told him he sounded like an internet scam he pretended to be hurt, but became even more insistent. He stopped conversing with me when I asked what his success rate was.
