On 3/17 I "purchased" a single ticket on Stub Hub for the Rush concert at Madison Square Garden on 4/11. The seller had listed one ticket in the "North Press Box" for $158.00 plus shipping. I purchsed (or thought I had) the ticket. And then, I fell down into the rabbit warren also known as STUB HUB. You see, it turns out that the "seller" either never had them ticket or re-listed somewhere else. Stub Hub then followed up with an "ironclad" guarantee that they would find me a "comparable or better ticket" to the show.
They then abruptly cancelled my order.
This company is a pure 3 card monty - type scam that gives brokers of any kind a bad name in that they agree to a price for a commodity and then reneg based on the market.
And that is called a scam. Beware.
