I was online one day and a pop up came up saying “You can win $1000 Shopping Spree for Walmart” Click here, so I did. It continued to ask questions, one being a phone number. At that moment I could not remember my number so I used my husband’s number. From that point on, without his knowledge, texting began on his phone. He did not know what was going on so he kept pushing DELETE. We never played any games, we never tried to go into anything again. It was a one time look up and I did not read on about the charges or anything else that went with it.

This was not Fernando’s fault what so ever and him being a reliable, responsible client to Rogers, they should have been just as responsible or concerned about this activity on his phone. But, to our knowledge Rogers does not hold themselves responsible or care about their client whatsoever. They will accept an invoice from another company that has only been in business for not quite 2 years word for the activities on Fernando’s phone, but Fernando has been a client with Rogers for over 30 years. Someone should have contacted Fernando to ask if he legitimately signed up for this, knowing that there has never ever been this kind of activity on his account. Fernando works in a foundry, he cannot take anything into his work place, so, at the end of his shift he would check his phone and have many, many texts on his phone, some kind of scramble stuff, so he would just delete them. Finally he typed in STOP as this was not going to stop on its own.

We were unaware of any charges that were going to appear on his bill, we were unaware that there were any fees attached to the online signing up. Maybe that was my mistake for not looking into this clearer. Fernando did not sign up for this whatsoever nor did he ever answer back or play any games. Therefore he should not be penalized for this on his account. Please if someone could look into this matter and correct this error, knowing that this would/will never ever happen again, it would be greatly appreciated. Furthermore to this we had to unpleasure of dealing with 2 Way Traffic, Nancy (no last name given, was told it was against the law to do so) and not sure of the other customer service person’s name but I would like to never have to deal with either ever again.

Also Drew #222 I436321 at Rogers, very arrogant, not a very professional Customer Service Manager, if in fact that is what he is for Rogers. We definitely did not get treated like good clients for Rogers at all and will be considering changes things up in the future. Unhappy about the treatment we were given and would like to consider other options for our services. Thank you and we hope someone can fix this for Fernando.
