I purchased a Koss Corporation HB-79 infared wireless listening device for my TV set. After only approximately 4 months, the headset broke. First one side, then the other.

The Koss corporation web site advertises a "No Questions Asked" lifetime warranty of the device that I had purchased.

I sent the device to the Koss warranty repair department via U.S. Postal mail. I included a description of the damage, and a return address label to insure it was not lost.

After several months with no response from Koss, I inquired of the repair or replacement status. Koss advised that the item had not been received. I contacted the Wisconsis Better Business Bureau. They simply acted as a conduit to exchange emails with the Koss Corporation customer service department. It seems that the customer service department is more adequately described as the customer dis-serrvice department.

The dis-service department advised that the item had not been received. The suggested that I purchase a new headset from Koss at twice the price paid for the original headset.

The Koss corporation "No Questions Asked" lifetime warranty is a gross misadvertisement. Their return policy seems to be a convenient method to force customers to purchase new Koss products at increased price.

Koss does not honor their advertised policy, and seems out to cheat customers with the phony bait and switch lifetime No Questions Asked warranty.
