Approx. 8/25 I booked a flight through Orbit.com to Pensacola florida, from ft lauderdale florida for the date of 9/28 to visit my daughter. Her husband was on ship in the Gulf of Aden at this time. He, with out my knowledge, booked my daughter a flight to Calif. The same time I booked my flight to Pensacola, Fl. I called and cancelled my flight, Delta said they would hold my flight for 1 year and when I used the flight I would then have to pay an additional $200.00 for??? Changing a flight??? Yep 150.00 to them and 50 because I went through a travel agent—this was all on line. Have you ever tried to book an open flight? Talk about $ about $1000.00. Well I just don't have it. I don't even have the extra $200.00 they want for me to use the ticket I thought I was getting such a good deal with. So HOW can such a large company get away with this stuff? Now I ask YOU. Just what can I do?
