Flight KL6125 was delayed such that we missed our connecting flight in AMS. After this Delta seriously spoilt the end of my honeymoon... They placed us on an SAA flight to JHB however never sent our bags to SAA. As a result we were separated from our bags which was then delayed for 3 days. Once received, items that were gifts from my husband was removed and our bags were damaged in the process. They booked us in an overbooked hotel close to the airport while we waited for the SAA flight, this meant we had to travel back to the airport to get checked into a different hotel, we never got compensated for the stay over and could not get our bags... As the response was it would take 6 hours... Which was about the time we had to leave on the SAA flight. It was a real disappointing experience and I urge KLM and Air France to break their partnership with Delta Airlines!!!
