LCD TV had defective light engine, sony extended the warranty on this model of TV's for this defect, when contacting sony they refused to offer any assistance for the repair claiming there was nothing they can do. Was escalated to multiple managers who each were more interested in backing each other up than taking care of thier 20 year customer. Solution, never purchase another Sony product again and removed all Sony products from household. If consumers did more of this the lousy merchants, manufacturers and poor business practices would be starved out.
