Done with target! - customer service

I placed an order today for a trampoline as a Christmas gift for my boys. A few minutes after placing the order online at target.com I realized that I had mistakenly ordered an accessory instead of the trampoline. I immediately called (it had been 20 minutes since the order was confirmed) and humbly explained my mistake and asked that the order be cancelled so that I could return to the site and place the correct order. I was rudely informed that the order was “in process” and couldn’t be edited or cancelled! How could that be? I hadn’t been charged yet, it hadn’t shipped yet, so why can’t they cancel it? The simple answer is because they don’t want to. During the course of the afternoon I called three times, each time getting the same answer. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and was told that there wasn’t anyone available to speak with me. During the last call I was told to refuse the delivery! I am amazed that they dispense this advice knowing they pay to ship it out and then ship it back when they could just cancel the order. And then the best part…it will take from two to four weeks to get my money back!!! Seconds to take my money but weeks to return it. Target.com is a company of liars, rude employees and scum bags. Can you imagine working there? What a day at the office! I will NEVER shop with Target.com again, ever. And every person who I come in contact with will hear this story.
