A Jim Haggard called and told me they had a buyer for my timeshare in New Mexico. They had called a year ago and got all the information on my timeshare and wanted money to advertise it for sale and I told them that I did not have the money for that. This time they said they had a buyer that was offering my asking price and that I needed to pay for the title search. I was $199, and I told them I did not have that money. They called me back many times. They called back and said the buyers would split it with me and to send it western union (the $98) to the title search company in Ga. They are located in Florida. I called the back and gave them the conformation number to prove I had sent the money and had no problem with getting in touch with them. I thought is was legitimate and so I did it. They said they would send the documents for my signature overnight to me. Well, nothing came and when I tried to call them back the first few days they said that the person I was dealing with was either out of the office or dealing with another client and then after 3 days the number was out of service.
