On September 30, my fiance was picked up on an outstanding traffic charge. He was in his nephews Nissan. The police had the vehicle towed to Angels Towing located in Waianae, HI. I called 2 days later when I found out what had happened, as well as my sister in law.
My fiance called on the 5 of October as well as many other times. Our nephew has called too. Each call got us no where. They will only allow the registered owner to pick up the truck. We went up on 3 different occasions with the money. Now they are going to auction the truck off tomorrow morning.
My nephew has the key and the title although he never changed it over to his name. Im pretty sure this is car theft by a business. They know that we want the truck. We even took in the hrs codes and showed them that the title holder is entitled to pick up their car.
We had tools in the truck as well as other valuable items in the back. When we saw the truck this afternoon it was cleaned out.
I am so angry can I do any thing legally???
