My Truck was towed by Custom Wreckers Inc. On June 21. I found out who the towing company was on June 27th. I called to inquire as to the charges for release of my vehicle on July 3d. I was given another number to call (718) 690 4388. The party on the phone informed me that a $185.00 towing fee plus $45 a day storage the fee for release. Since the tow he never gave me an amount but by his own figures it would have been $680.00. I asked where the truck was being held. He then stated "I gotta see if I can release it to you, I'll call you back" He never did. I called again and got the same reply, "I have someone call you back", No one ever did. I never received a total cost or was given the location of my Truck or the location to retrieve my tools, equipment important papers and vehicle records. I visited the location on the Towing ticket # 3052 on the 27th. Of June and July 3d. And my Truck was not there or anyone to talk to. This Towing Co. Has numerous complaints when searched online and has changed their name when operating under prior Towing companies. It is not just Predatory Towing, It is Theft.
