I am a small business owner. I rent mobile homes and have been in this business for about 10 years. We keep our homes well maintained and are NOT slum lords! These tenants moved in early and NEVER payed their rent on time. They lied every time I made demand for rent and never kept their appts. To add insult to injury, Chris Brooks ran over our septic line with his 4x4 truck
breaking the line, releasing raw sewage onto the property.
He then called the EPA and reported that our system was failed and that we weren't in compliance with the required limits. He never called my husband about this and we only found out when the gentleman from the EPA visited my house with a demand letter to fix the problem! My husband fixes ALL problems as it
pays to keep the home well maintained and tenants happy. Mr. Brooks also tore up the drive-way and the surrounding rural roads for 2 miles leading to the home and complained to the county about the road conditions! His wife is no better. She works for Braums in Pittsburg, KS., and makes good money but would not pay rent on time and has not payed for the damages they caused with malice, to my property.
Now they left during the night, owing for 1/2 a months rent and left the home trashed! Don't rent to these people, they are dishonest and will leave you in a bad spot when they sneak off! They also go online to look for ways to stay without paying rent. They give ALL tenants a BAD name and are white trash! They trump up false alligations against the landlord and lie through their teeth.
Beware of these people!!!
