On may i had a patio enclosure done thru american home design, in which it's suppose to be a life time warranty included. Three years have passed and i notice deteriating in the wood where the nails are nailed in. I have contacted the company on this matter several times. The company is based in lexington, ky and i live in louisville, ky so i had to wait until some one came to louisville to do a job b4 they could come and check out the circumstance. Now they are talking about i would have to pay a fee for the work to b done, i don't recall this being mention when the contract was wrote up all they (gary brown) said was it was a life time warranty. I feel that this is an unfair act to me being that they know that this is no fault to me paying as much money that i paid, knowing to that they r over charging people... It's due to the cheap products that they used being that this is all on the outside it looks TERRIBLE AND I'M VERY DISSATISFIED... Reading the other usacomplaints.com makes me wish i had a read up on this (scam artist) company b4 i had the job done... Never again will they get any of my business for anything, needless to say that i work wit people that are interested in getting home repairs done, but u better believe they will hear about this company from me. Stay away from american home design
