I purchased my second cell phone in 2008; it was then that I was first made aware of the "WHITE-DOT" policy for warranty cancel-
lations: "... If the dot turns red, no warranty coverage..." and
that means "full-price" replacement of non-upgradable phones.
I have a three-year-old cell phone with a "red-dot", because it had
been exposed to the high-humidity climate of the metro N.Y. Area,
and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PHONE... Bottom -
line: if you have electronic/mechanical problems with your cell, &
the dot is red, you are F%D.
