On 08/02 I was notified by my bank of an overdraft resulting from a $30 charge from pmt protect. So I also had to pay the overdraft fees of $33! I called the company for a refund and was told it would take 10 to 20 business days... So I waited but no refund! I called again and was told that they had processed my refund but was waiting for my bank to approve it. I then contacted my bank and they said there was no approval needed so I called pmt protect again and the said they would red flag my refund to the accounting dept and i should recieve my refund by the end of the week... But no refund. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor but they are always busy. I called again the 4th time now and was told that the accounting dept would send me an e-mail concerning my refund... Still all supervisors were busy! I called the 5th time and was told my refund would be processed by the end of the day... This was 09/16. Of course no refund still so I called again today 09/20 and was again told that all supervisors were busy and the accounting dept would notify me by e-mail of my refund status but of course no e-mail or refund. I realize now that there isn't gonna be a refund and that I will continue to get the run around until I give up. I am a single mother of 3 living off unemployment and barely getting by...$30 may not be much to some people but its a big deal to me. I will definetly be more careful with my acoount information even on trusted websites!
