On 06/01 I purchased a phone for my account, at an A.T.&T.
Company store... I bantered with the salesperson about the auto-
matic "upgrade" fee, and requested deletion of the same from my
purchase price... The "fee" was initially deleted...
.. And when I received my next bill I found I had been
charged the upgrade anyway. This is the tip of the iceberg.
