There was a 2007 nissan pathfinder truck on craiglist. I expressed interest to the buy. The seller name is Emily White, she claimed to be a US service women stationed in Madrid, spain, and was getting ready to redeploy in Afghanistan to replaced the troops coming home. She claimed that she wanted a quick deal because her trip to afghanistan was scheduled for the 20th of sept. And made me to understand that the truck was presently located in Bethesda, Md. Her former base. Than i asked if i could drive to MD to take a look, she than said sine it was a military base i wouldnt have access to the truck. Cus it was in the direct care of the Logistics, to have it delivered to the interested buyer. Because of the urgency, she was asking for 2200.00. So she told me that she was gonna bring in Google checkout for a fair play. Cus it is their job to do that, they will contact me as soon as she get my address. So they did, and told me its their line of business to satisfy the seller and buyer. So google checkout asked that i have the cash sent to a representative of theirs by the name of John Salinas in spain. Which i did, wit the understanding that when they get the cash it will be placed in a account for safe keepin. So just in case that i dont like the vehicle or transaction. My cash will be refunded rite away. So after the money was sent, i got a confirmation that the shipment is being processed. Since then, i have never heard from Emily White nor Google checkout again... It was when i realised that i had been scammed.
