In late July, my wife was approached by a young person stating he was selling magazine subscriptions to accumulate college funding. She subscribed to a number of magazines. The sales person initmated that the Ultimate Unity program through which he sold the subscriptions was a non-profit, youth empowerment program.
Having subscribed a number of times to such door to door solicitations and never receiving a magazine, I asked my wife to google Ulitmate Unity. There were a number of ripoff report c0mplaints and a series of BBB reports as well, most 'F', the highest 'C'.
WE therefore cancelled our check to Ulitmate Unity.
We have now received a letter from CPR Financial Services of Independence MO, thretening us with legal action under "Virginia law" if we do not pay the initial $84 and additional $35 in "return" fees.
