On Jan, 30th (today) a Nice sunday in phx, az my door bell rings and when I answer, there is a young woman with a baby carriage at my door.
She starts off by telling me, that she is going "door to door " as part of a program that will help relocate her and her son, (who is in the carriage) to another state and away from an abusive partner. Well right away I'm drawn to "help" her. She then continues to say all the right things, and I just can't seem to resist helping this total stranger upon my door.
I also was told that I could purchase the magazines, but have them donated to Ronald Mc Donald house and just use it as a tax write off. Well I'm not sure why the "red" flags didn't go off then.
Hours later I became concerned that maybe I had been ripped off. I was really worried that maybe I had just put my banking acct.info.in the hands of crooks!
