I wanted to watch the UK 6 Nations Rugby competition and googled for an internet TV site. This one came up and seemed to have a good web page with examples of what they offered. I signed up (but no "free view" in advance). I was offered a lot of internet TV connections and transfered to different sites. One site eventually gave me 5 minutes of the match, before kicking me saying that I had breached a protocol (?). I could not get into any other site. I wrote to their email address (they had sent me confirmation of membership and a copy of my invoice) and asked for my money back, but never received a reply.
This week I tried to access them again to see if it was possible to watch the Rugby World Cup. I noticed that their name is now "WatchLiveRugbyWorldCup.com". I entered my name and password as per their confirmatory email, but was told that no such registration existed!
This is clearly a way of attracting people to subscribe and then appearing to provide a faulty service so that people might believe that it does exist, but is just a "bad product". There is actually no product here and it is a continuing way of scamming money from gullible (including me) people.
They appear to be based in Florida and by some of the phrasing in their emails, English is probably not their first language.
Beware
