My Yahoo mail account was hacked and the following message was sent to all contacts excluding the ones in U.K.
"Hope you get this on time, I made a quick trip early this week to Dundee, UK and my bag got stolen from me with my passport and credit cards in it.
The embassy is willing to help by letting me fly without my passport, I just have to pay for a ticket and settle Hotel bills. Unfortunately for me, I can't have access to funds without my credit card, I've made contact with my bank but they need more time to come up with a new one. I was thinking of asking you to lend me some quick funds that I can give back as soon as I get in.
I really need to be on the next available flight.

Later for my friend who did not realize this scam, was given the following instructions:
All you need do is to locate a Western Union office wire the funds to me with the address etails below:
Address: 26 Golf Crescent, Tayport, DD6, Dundee.
My name as it appears on my temporary ID is Ramray Bidaye.
You would need to send me the Western Union confirmation number so i could pick up the funds.
One of my friends rushed $ 1500 by Western Union, ID# MTCN: 115-157-0636
He was next day, contacted for additional funds.
