Hello, I saw the ad on craigslist like the rest of you and I seen this place hiring for some type of Management job. Well when i went in and talked to them they kinda didnt say anything about any management. They told me I would be doing sales I wanted to address them for false adversiting but they were so energetic that I decided to let them finish.
So I choose to see this through because they were sounding very promsing. They were telling me how much money I would be making a week and all the benifits of the job. All the people that worked there were really awesome! So I was called for my second interview and to my surprise I get hired for the job. They told me to be there at 7:30 and be dressed professional! I showed up to an office with no damn chairs, no desk or anything! The only people that were sitting were the damn assistants! They told me I would be following someone the first day or in other words "shadowing".
So all day im following this guy and he is gettin cursed out by managers and business owners! But I thought maybe he was just a bad sales guy. So later that day I went back to the office and I still decided to go ahead with the job! Everyday you have to be in that chairless office and just shout and yell and do kindergarten activites. You clap, shout, dance, and stand around with people for 3 damn hours! Its like church!!! Then I was told I would be gettin paid for all my trainging days which is 10$ an hour. When I recieved my training pay check I was awarded 40 stinking bucks! If im correct, the they owe me about 400 dollars because they say you get paid $10 an hour for all 5 training days and you are work about 9 or 10 hours!
Then they want you to go to these outings every week and maybe go out to eat or something like that. Which isnt all that bad, because you actually get to know the employees and everyone who works their! But it was a terrible experiencce. They fool you with their positive energy and those big numbers they tell you you are destined to make if you join thier team! When I worked their i was making a few hundred dollars a week which is good for someone my age. But the money i made i was spending right back on gas. The office is on city line ave. I had to drive all the way out the far northeast and then i had to drive all the way up springfeild. So i was filling up my gas tank at least a few times a week. With my last job i only had to fill my gas tank once a week.
Then you have to go door to door in any weather! I was in the 102 degree weather, the pouring rain, and the snow! And you have to deal with those cranky business owners who hate you just because your trying to sell them something!
The job itself isnt bad But the experience was. I was leaving for work at 6am and i didnt get home unil 8 some nights! If you have no social life, no spouse, no children then this is for you! This job is very time consuming and you have to be very deciated to this job. At the end of they day... This job is a rip off and it isnt worth the time
