I paid for a trial membership on Aug. 20, with the condition that my credit card will be billed $99.00 for a year's membership if I do not telephone within 14 days to cancel. I have tried repeatedly to cancel by calling the phone no. Given — 1-866-581-4705 — and have not succeeded. I am afraid this is some kind of scam and that the credit card I used will automatically be billed $99.00. If that happens, what can I do to get the charge cancelled?
