I was mailed an Achieve debit card with instructions to take to CVS or Radio Shack so I took the card to CVS, 4707 West Venice Blvd, Los Angeles. This occurred on August 25 when CVS was supposed to have Green Dot transfer the funds to my Achieve card and I purchased the Green Dot card for $4.95 and the moneypak for $50.00. I was getting the card for my disabled daughter who spends time shopping on EBay and the next day when she attempted to shop was told that I had a 0 balance on the card.
After conversations with Achieve I was told to contact Greendot who was responsible for transferring the 50.00 to my card and was told that the funds were transferred on August 25th to some account with the name Rodriguez. After numerous conversations since August 25th, Greendot still has not straightened the matter out or posted my 50.00 to my credit debit card. Now then, since Greendot made the mistake of posting the funds in the wrong account, I feel my funds should be refunded to me or posted to my account but the clerk by the name of Genn told me today September 1, that she did not think my funds could be recovered.
