I used the company's website to place an order for 2 cans of flex seal, even agreeing to the excessive 9.95 per can "processing charges." There is no review of your order before finalizing the pruchase page and as a result the final bill surprised me with $79.78 in charges showing that I had ordered 4 cans, which I clearly did not. I immediately wrote to the customer service email address provided which was returned to me twice stating that I needed to call their C.S. Number but also that I could not reach anyone until Monday morning.
I then did as instructed and called first thing Monday morning @ 8am PST, but was told after a lengthy discussion both with the phone rep Ava and then her Supervisor Aaron (badge number 8015) that there was nothing they could do. The order was already in process and likely on the truck. I suggested that was unlikely as they would have a tracking number which he could not provide. Eventually, the best they could offer was a refund on the products after receipt of said products, but no refund on the processing fees. Haggling further brought them to offer a one time $25 refund for a portion of the processing fees as well, but then I would have been paying them $15 dollars to NOT take my other $65.
I gave up and called my credit card who said they have already had a number of complaints against this merchant and that after a few paper-hoops, I would be refunded the full amount by my card directly.
