I received an email about being a secret shopper. I got a cashier's check in the mail for $1,886.00, given all my instructions and I was told mail to mail balance back, or wire it. I was to send a report about how the store acted, etc. The bank cleared the check so I assumed it was good and did what I was told because I was supposed to be able to continue doing it and make more money. Then I read an article on line about this bank and that there were fake cashier's checks out here from there, and I believe now that I may have been scammed. I am still not sure, but have a bad feeling because I thought it was an easy way to make some extra money as I am on social security.
