In July i rec'd a flyer for direct tv serv. For 29.99 a mo. At that time I called & i told the rep that if there was a contract i would not take the service. I told the rep. I might have the serv. For 1,2, or 3 mo. I kept the serv. One mo. I did not like the tv service nor the remote and called to have it disconnected. I then rec'd a statement with a charge of 470.30 for disconnecting serv. I called direct tv and discussed the issue with a rep. I thought it was resolved. Today i checked my bank acct and there was a withdraw of $470.30 by direct tv. I called direct tv and spoke with 3 reps and 1 supervisor. They would not credit the charge back to my acct. The Rep. Said i gave them my atm # and it states on the back of your statement they will keep the acct # to apply charges if you disconnect or do no pay your bill. I rec'd one statement which was double the charge the flyer stated. I asked each person i spoke with to pull the recording when the service was sold to me and it will show that i clearly stated i would not take the serv. If there was a contract as i knew i could not fulfill a contract. There has been a big misunderstanding or maybe i was delibertly mislead. I am low income and need this money back today. I feel like money has been stolen from me. I am on SS Disability Income. Please help.
