We were looking for a loan for a down payment on our house. They called us after submitting an online application and we were told that a private lender was willing to lend us the money to the sum of $8,000.00, but we had to fill out a full application, send our banking information for direct deposit and a copy of our drivers license. They sent us loan documents that looked legal. We did everything that they asked and send in the $985.00 to secure the loan and then were told that the lender had some fraudulent activity on his account and had to put a stop to any lending at this time. So needless to say we were scammed and they made out with our 985 dollars. We have checked their website and now it is totally different. If something is not done they will do this to someone else. This scam put us in a bad situation. First we lost getting our home we were going to purchase causing tremendous emotional trauma and we had to change our banking information, which was a huge process and then had checks come back as non-sufficient funds because of the switch. This scam has caused our family financial hardship and emotional distress.
